Methodology

How we measure. And what we refuse to guess.

Where the data comes from

Every figure is read from the public X profile page of the account, exactly as a logged-out visitor sees it. We do not log in, buy data or use private APIs. The tracker reads one profile at a time, at most 300 a day, so each account is read about once a day. When X cannot be read, nothing is changed: the page keeps the last good figures and their date.

Followers

The count X shows on the profile. X rounds large counts (for example “11.4K”); those are marked ≈ and treated as rounded everywhere, including growth.

Averages per post

Views, likes, reposts and replies are the exact counts X writes into each post’s accessibility labels, over the stored posts of the last 30 days. Every average shows its sample size; below 3 posts with a count, we show none.

Engagement rate

(likes + reposts + replies) ÷ views over posts where X showed all four. When views are not available, it is per follower instead, and labelled so. Rankings use only the per-view rate.

Growth

Growth over 7, 30 and 90 days compares two of our own daily snapshots that far apart. Until we have them, the page says “still measuring”. We never extrapolate or backfill a history we did not see. A change smaller than X’s rounding is not counted.

Posting frequency

Posts per week from the timestamps of stored posts (at least 3, spanning at least a day).

Tokens mentioned

Cashtags such as $SOL found in stored posts, and contract addresses. A mention is a fact about a post, not a recommendation. Trending tokens are ranked by how many different KOLs mentioned them in the last 7 days.

Observations

We publish dated observations, never verdicts. Two rules: a post whose views were at least 6× the median of the account’s other posts in the last 30 days (with at least five posts), and a day-over-day follower change of at least 10% (from at least a thousand). Both happen to genuine accounts — a viral post, a mention by a bigger account — so they say what was counted and nothing more.

Niches, chains, language

Simple keyword rules on the account’s own bio and posts; when no rule fires, the field stays empty. A verified owner can set them, and the page says who did.

Charts

Each chart ranks only accounts that have the figure; a missing figure is never ranked as zero. “Best small accounts” means under 50K followers. Featured placements are paid, labelled, and never change a chart.
